Kapri's Room...a work in progress

About a week ago we finally got the crib & changing table delivered. James & I allocated a good 3-4 hours on a Sunday afternoon, just to make sure we did it all right! That's definitely something you don't want to mess up or not screw together tight enough! Now, a thousand pieces later, with our patience tested...here's the final outcome! It's still a work in progress though. Still have to put up her name above the crib (just got all 5 letters yesterday after visiting THREE different Michael's stores...sheesh), still need some wall decor and are planning on putting up some shelves above the changing table.

We also celebrated James' 28th birthday this past Saturday (4/18/09)...man he's gettin old!! Haha...at least he says that he doesn't feel old...so that's good, he's still young at heart :-) His family all pitched in some money and he was able to make a trip to Best Buy where he purchase a Sony camcorder. I told him it was HIS bday $$, so he could get a new radio/CD player for his car - since his current one refuses to play any CD's now...but being a great daddy-to-be, he decided to use that money for a video camera to capture the birth of his first daughter. We are so excited to record many, many memories with our baby girl Kapri! Stay tuned, I'm sure we'll have lots of video to upload to the blog in no time...

  1. How sweet is James?? You know he'll be a great dad when he spends his best buy money on the baby. Too cute. The room is adorable! Can't wait to see the decor. :)
