You read correctly…I said “piercing”!!! We took the plunge and finally got Kapri’s ears pierced. James had to work, so he couldn’t make it to this appointment, so I brought my mom & KayLee…who videotaped the event – however I won’t be posting the video because I haven’t watched it yet, and probably won’t for awhile. It was soooo sad & made me cry right along with her…it’s understandably very painful to watch & hear your baby in pain, but at least she won’t remember the day mommy made her go through this.
She is adorable regardless, but check out this major earring bling she’s rockin now! They’re iridescent 18Kt White Gold studs.
Oh, she’s still at the top of the charts…in the upper-90th percentile for both length and weight (lil chunker)…at 19 weeks she is now 18.9 lbs & 26.5” long…no wonder my back & arms hurt all the time! But I can’t complain, I have to remember to enjoy holding her, no matter how sore/tired my arms are, because one day she’ll be too big & I won’t be able to.
