Soft as Silk

Club Silk that is.

Last night James & I headed up to Club Silk, which is inside Pechanga Casino (in Temecula). We both had never been but had always heard it was fun. So one of his colleagues, Jodi, decided to celebrate her birthday there and we had a blast! There was at first about 10 of us, then a few handfuls of other people joined us later in the night. Always fun to try new things & hang out with different people.

When we first got upstairs to the entrance, there was a huuuuuuuuuuuuge line to get in. Jodi had 5 passes to get in free (which was for her and 4 of the girls, including me)…but that meant the poor guys had to suffer in this insane line. So we went up to the front & asked about getting them in. Their only offer was for us to buy a VIP table with bottle service (of course)…so we gave in & forked over the $$. I think it was pretty much worth it because a) we didn’t have to wait in that line and b) we had our own big table/couch area RIGHT next to the bar & dance floor…ummm perfect!!!

 The place was actually a lot bigger than I thought it would be…I wish we could’ve stayed longer but we had about an hour drive back home & if we did, then we would’ve been miserably tired the next day having to take care of baby K…no thanks.
