EGGstravaganza!!!

Today James, Kapri & I went to “EGGstravagenza” over at Poinsettia Park in Carlsbad. It was a big Easter thing for kids…full of games, jumpies, slides, food, face painting, pics with the Easter bunny and good old fashion egg hunts. Although Kapri is just a little too young for all these things, it was still nice to get out of the house, dress her up, enjoy the weather & people watch!

Kapri loved the grass…it’s her new fascination. That’s fine…it’s free, haha!

I so badly wanted to get a pic of her on the Easter bunny’s lap and get her little face painted with a cute butterfly or something…but the lines were out. of. control. I mean really?? With all those kids, whose smart idea was it to just have ONE person dressed up in that damn bunny outfit for pics…and ONE person doing face painting?? There were sooooo many families there…and all those poor kids who had to sit there & wait in long lines. Ugh. So we didn’t do that, needless to say.

Next year Kapri, next year. It’ll be much more fun for her & enjoyable for us when she can run around & play with other kiddos.
